If you’re on this page, chances are, you just received your gallery. (Yaaaayyy!!!)
When first entering your gallery, a series of cards will be displayed to familiarize you with the features of your gallery. Please be sure to read the cards before closing them! A couple of things to note:
Included with your session/wedding, your gallery will remain active for a minimum of two years.
We know how exciting it is to see your images! As a standard practice for wedding galleries, we actively upload images during the editing process, so you may see images appear within the sneak peek link you received (this is the same link for your final gallery) within two to seven days before receiving an email to let you know your gallery is ready. We commonly make fine-tuning adjustments during this process, so please wait to download images for print until you receive your “Gallery is Ready” email.
We are consistently challenging ourselves to use new techniques and technologies to use the best editing practices we can for image consistency and tonality. While implementing new processes provides a better end product for our couples, sometimes these extra steps can add to the overall time it takes for us to edit. This is one of the key reasons we keep our delivery times as estimated timeframes, as it allows us some flexibility to employ new processes across all our upcoming deliveries at any time to provide a higher-quality end product. As is always our commitment to our couples, we will never rush editing galleries and videos as we know how important it is to review and work through every image and frame thoroughly. While we never rush editing, please know that if you need the earliest of these times listed below under delivery timeframes to be a hard stop, send us an email to let us know!
Image delivery timeframes are based on our average delivery numbers (60 images for 60-minute sessions, 600 images for one-photographer weddings, and 1,000 images for two-photographer weddings). One photographer weddings typically take approximately four weeks to edit, while two photographers usually take approximately six weeks. Intimate weddings will typically take approximately five weeks. Please allow additional editing time for galleries with a higher image delivery than those quoted within our packages, especially those closer to 2,000 for weddings and 200 for sessions. (These usually are sessions that ran over in time or weddings with extended hours/more moments and details.) For weddings, while you will still see images begin to appear around the four (one photographer) and six-week (two photographers) marks, please expect an additional week in editing per 300 images over our quoted amounts.
Do you have questions or need assistance placing a print order? Please use the contact form on this page to reach out!
Please Note: If you received your gallery link before June 2020, your gallery has been upgraded. Click here to learn more!

Our estimated delivery timeframes can be found below. Please note, these timeframes are approximate.
Photos
Sneak Peeks: Within Two Business Days
Weddings: 4 to 6 Weeks
One Photographer: 4 Weeks
Intimate Weddings: 5 Weeks
Two Photographer: 6 Weeks
60-Minute Sessions: 2 to 3 Weeks (i.e. engagement, family, boudoir, and maternity sessions)
Indoor Mini Session: 48 to 72 Hours
Videos
Intimate Wedding Videos (60-Second & Highlight Film): 6 to 8 Weeks
Documentary Videos: 8 to 12 Weeks
Ceremony/Speech Videos: 2 to 4 Weeks
60-Minute Session Video: 4 to 6 Weeks
Have these dates passed and your gallery or video hasn’t been fully delivered yet?
It is always our goal to deliver as many photos and as much footage as possible within our gallery and documentary videos.
If you notice a delay on specific panels of your wedding gallery, chances are we are taking a little more time for Photoshop adjustments. While these aren’t included in our packages, if you have a wedding day breakout, dress stain, or lipstick transfer, we will always try our best to give your gallery as much time as possible to resolve these before we deliver your full gallery to you.
If you see a partial gallery where your image count is already over those quoted in our wedding packages, chances are you have a larger gallery! While you’ll still have access to images as they complete our editing process, please allow up to one additional week in editing per 300 images over these quoted amounts.
Video is a much more extensive editing process than photos that requires a lot of planning and quite often several restarts/readjustments to make footage work with the music selected while providing as much footage as possible. In total, videos will typically take three to four times the amount of time in editing than photos so please be paitient as videos do have a higher potential for delay.
Please know, in these cases, you’ll typically see an additional two weeks in editing time added, but you will be able to access all of the other videos and panels of your gallery not being worked on during this time.

Want to know more about what happens to your images in the weeks that follow after your event or session? There is so much that goes on behind the scences! Below you can find a full breakdown of our editing process.
Storage, Redundancy & Quick Image Precheck
This is usually the day of or morning after a session or event. In this step, we move all of the files of images taken to our editing SSDs and place an additional copy on our RAID system. We also do a quick image pre-check in this process to look for any camera malfunctions and select by random some images to pull in for some sneak peeks to send you.Culling
In this process, we go through each and every image to select the ones that will be delivered in your final gallery. We mark test shots, blurry photos, excessive duplicates and very unflattering images as ones not to pull into our editing process below.Editing Pass #1: Initial Preset Application/Straightening
In this process, we apply our base collection of color balance settings and straighten and crop every image.Editing Pass #2: Full Editing Process
This is when we carefully review each and every image and adjust for tonal quality, shadows and highlights..As Needed: Photoshop Adjustments
Not included in our package, we at times will pull images into Photoshop for additional editing to fix things like a pimple or makeup rubbing off your nose. This process is extensive and usually a minimum of five minutes per image.Editing Pass #3: Final Review & Upload
Your gallery is almost here! In this stage, we do a final review of each panel and upload. As uploads take such a long time, this process will typically span across a few days for weddings and events.Small Fine Tuning Adjustments
It's not unusual for us to make small fine tuning adjustments to make galleries more cohesive once we see how images come together in your gallery. This is why you may see a one to two day delay, even though your images are fully uploaded, before receiving your "gallery is ready" email.Final Backup
In the week following your delivery, we transfer a copy of all delivered files onto our RAID system for backup and remove original SD cards and files from our editing SSDs. We maintain these files for a minimum of two years. -
Understanding the difference between sRGB and CMYK printing.
Please know when printing, it is super important to find vendors who specifically specialize in printing pictures. The reason for this comes down to the color space that their equipment has been designed and calibrated for. For publications, such as flyers and posters, printers use a color space called CMYK which uses four elements of color (cyan, magenta, yellow, and key), whereas photos as an industry standard use the sRGB (red, green, and blue) color space in 8 or 16 bit.
It is super important that your printer of choice uses printers that print in sRGB or it will create a distortion in the color of your prints. This is one of the reasons that we recommend using your gallery store over the use of other printers as we keep the pricing so low there that chances are, if you find lower pricing, it is going to be from a printer using the wrong color space. sRGB printers are much more expensive to operate and require specific papers to be used.
Did you know? We always quality-check our prints before sending them along to you and will replace any items that do not meet our high-quality standards.
Calibration
We edit our photos on calibrated screens to reflect exactly how they will look in print. This is why prints that we order through our print providers will look exactly how they look on our screens.
Photo Paper
Photo paper plays a huge role in how color saturates onto a print. All of our prints are printed on paper created by big names like Fuji and Kodak who have spent years perfecting this science. This ensures that prints look identical in coloring as they were edited.
Image Size
To help ensure easy mobile phone usage and ease of storage space, our galleries are predesigned to download single images in a smaller, social media-friendly resolution (please see downloading and storing your images below). It is important to make sure images are downloaded in high-resolution when printing which can only be done through downloading your favorites list of your whole gallery. Ordering from us just ensures the right file size is being used when purchasing your prints.
-
Please note photos are edited in a queue based on their delivery date. While we know there may be an image that you are just dying to see, please be understanding that pulling a gallery out of order could cause delays for not only your gallery but also those galleries due out before. For this reason, we do not release additional images outside gallery sneak peeks before full gallery delivery.
Uploads typically happen late at night, once we have closed our office for the day. As we upload a massive amount of data each business day, uploading for completed galleries and videos is usually done late in the day to allow for us to have the fastest internet possible throughout the day. This is why you'll often receive notifications that your gallery is ready between the hours of 9 PM to 1 AM.
Christmas Deliveries. Please expect events and sessions held after October 31st and November 15th (with the exception of our indoor mini sessions), respectively, to not be available within a timeframe for print orders to arrive by Christmas. Please use images from your sneak peeks for print orders for sessions/events after these dates.
We close out any pending items by December 31st. If you have a gallery/videos that are due out prior to December 31st or have made a request for additional editing, this applies to you! The last two weeks of December, when we close to outdoor sessions, are some of our busiest of the year. This is a time when our office hours are at their longest and we are working tirelessly to ensure any open items are closed before the end of the year. So please know, if you have any open items, you can expect them to appear in your inbox/gallery/video delivery panels by December 31st.

Your gallery will remain active for at least two years during which time you will be able to download or sync your images. The options for download will include downloading in two options:
High-Res - This is the resolution you would use when printing your images and is the exact size of the final file as it is on our computer when editing.
Web-Size - This quality is smaller in size and designed for use on social media, on websites, or in any digital form. This is also the quality that displays on your gallery to allow for ease of use with mobile devices.
For storing your images, you have the option to:
Download to Your Computer - Your gallery will allow you to download your images as often as you want to while your gallery is active (two years).
Sync to Google Photos - This is a one-click option that will allow you to sync your gallery photos with your Google Photos account.
Sync to Dropbox - This is a one-click option that will allow you to sync your gallery photos with your Dropbox account.
Helpful Tip — Single image downloads are always in web-size format to ensure mobile usability. To download images in the high-resolution version, use the full gallery download option (or your favorites list).

Videos are accessible for viewing and downloading through a personal video delivery page on our website. If you selected to have both photography and videography with us, you can find your unique link under the videos tab of your photo gallery. This personal page and video access will be available for up to two years from the date of your event.
Throughout the course of each office day, it is rare for us to not be actively in the process of uploading videos. Please note that due video’s large file sizes, it can take several hours for uploads to fully complete so while we do add links as soon as this process begins, it is rare for us to send out email notifications for video additions as oftentimes they are finishing outside our office hours. Please be sure to check back to your personal delivery page often for new video additions.

There are several ways to share your gallery with your family, friends, and vendors. These share options will be available in the white bar on the right side of your screen.
Copy the URL Link - This link will quickly provide direct access for your family and friends that will not require them to request access.
Share on Facebook - At the top right of your gallery will be a curved arrow. This arrow will display options for sharing on Facebook and sharing on Pinterest.
Send Email - Using that same arrow, you can find an option to send an email. This option allows you to send specific photos directly to your family and friends instead of your entire gallery. See a picture of a person that you love and want to share. This is the best way to send it without having to download and reopen it in a messaging app.
Sharing with Vendors - Please feel free to share your gallery link or images with vendors! When passing along images to other vendors, please include a link to our vendor’s image use page that will provide all the information they need for sharing.
Tagging Atlanta Dahlia Photography - Please feel free to tag us! You can find our social media pages below. YOU are what helps us continue in this business, and we sincerely appreciate shout-outs, follows, and referrals!

Did you know you can hide images you don’t want others to see? When you receive your gallery invitation, a client password will be provided at the bottom of your email. This password provides you access to your gallery as a client and will allow you to hide and mark images as private within your gallery and will make these images inaccessible for those visiting your gallery as a guest.
-
Did you know that phones and laptops display color and vibrancy differently? When visiting your gallery, check the settings on your device. For example, on devices like iPhones, turning off true-tone from your device settings and increasing the brightness of your screen will help to make pictures appear more closely to the way images are meant to be displayed. On other devices, settings like power-saving and blue filtering will significantly change the way your photos will be displayed.
-
As a standard package offering, all of our images are released with printing rights. While we always recommend and encourage you to order prints from your online gallery (the vendors there have been carefully vetted to ensure the best quality), please know you are always welcome to print anywhere! From time to time, some printing locations may ask for a print release providing permission from the photographer to print images. If you need this print release, you can find it by clicking here.
-

Don’t see an image you thought would be in your gallery? Please know we are always happy to reopen your gallery to check! Below you can find more information about our photo selection process and timeline for these requests.
Our Culling Process
Culling is a photographer’s sorting through images to select images delivered within final galleries.
For our culling process to err on the side of caution, the images we remove from this process are duplicates (with the exception of family photos, where you will see a higher rate of excessive duplicates), flash misfires, images where there main subject’s eyes are closed/mouth is awkwardly open/highly unflattering photos, RBF (resting bored face!) on candid/reception photos, blurry images, and test shots.
Our goal is always to deliver you as many images as possible.
As with any photography, please know there is no guarantee that every image taken will be usable, especially during the reception and dark spaces where camera and flash capabilities are pushed to their limits and the rate of persons blinking due to flashing lights increases.
We strive to have an incredibly high ratio of delivered versus unusable images through state-of-the-art equipment and editing techniques. This is why our galleries often contain more images than quoted in our packages and continue to grow in size as technology advances.
Do you feel an image is missing? You can use the form here to request that we review our source files for a specific image. Please note, though, that due to our very detailed culling process, it is scarce for an image requested to be deliverable.
Processing Timeframes
Requests made within one week of the original gallery delivery (this is the timeframe before we save these files to our archival system) are expected to take two to three business days to process.
Requests for galleries delivered more than one week ago will require retrieval from our archive files and placement back into our editing queue. Please note that for any requests requiring retrieval of our original archive files, your edits will be placed inside our editing queue with videos and images currently being edited. As wedding files are large, we do this to ensure galleries and videos are completed in a seamless flow while providing the time, space, and system resources we need to provide our entire focus on each project as it is being edited. As these requests are edited on a first-in-queue, first-serve basis, please allow up to four to six weeks for your request to be completed.

See an image you would like to have manipulated?
As a part of being able to deliver as many images as possible while keeping our packages affordable, photo manipulation is not included in our wedding packages* and is instead available for purchase after your gallery is delivered. This includes blemish removals, lipstick transfers, stains, background element removals, etc. You can find a breakdown of options and pricing by clicking here.
*With the expectation of our all-inclusive packages which include our Tier One editing.
FAQs
What is photo manipulation? Photo manipulation is the alteration of the original contents of a photo. It can be something small like removing a blemish or hair that is out of place, all the way to something more drastic like airbrushing or creating a new photo altogether. These manipulations add anywhere between 5 minutes to two hours per photo.
What type of editing is included in your package? Included within all of our packages is editing for white balance, cropping, straightening, and coloring to ensure consistency with images displayed across our brand.
Why is pricing designed this way? So often we hear this misconception that photographers should be creating images with pure perfection. In so many ways, this idea is truly so far from the truth. While every photographer is different, we feel it’s our calling to create authentic, candid images that fully capture every moment, smile, and tear in their most natural beauty. Not always are these beautiful moments in perfect places, conditions, or lighting which is where photographers are faced with a choice - One, deliver perfection by delivering very few, highly manipulated images (often increasing the cost of their packages to consume the hours added by additional editing), or Two, deliver broader galleries of more images, allowing couples to have as many images to choose from as possible while giving them the option to purchase these advanced manipulations only as they need to. We’ve chosen the latter. This allows us to deliver more images, all while keeping our packages affordable for you!
-
We provide a $15 retouching/editing credit for all our galleries that can be used toward the purchase of any of the services below:
Retouches (Standard, Plus, Premium)

Converting Images to Black & White (Full Gallery, Single Image)
To redeem, use code YMJT4 at checkout.

Did you know? We offer the ability for your images to be edited in an entirely different editing style!
More than just clicking a button, most of the time we spend on images is spent in the days and hours following to style an image for editing. Over the years we’ve watched photography styling change so much, and while we continue to edit using the same color forward, timeless style we have used from the beginning, we fully understand editing is a highly subjective art form, and everyone gravitates toward their own style. For this reason, we want to ensure that you always have access to images in different editing forms.
