Chances are, if you’re here on this page, you have an upcoming wedding with us, and we can’t begin to tell you enough how much it means to us that you chose us to be a part of your wedding day!! Please know that we are always here to provide guidance and answer any questions (even those not photography-related!).

We’ve created this guide as a way to provide an overview of what to expect and all of the options that are available for reaching out and meeting with us with any questions you may have along the way.

For all of our couples, you can expect to hear from us leading up to your wedding day with:

  • 90-Day Check-Ins. Anytime that 90 days have passed since we last spoke to you or sent you an email, you’ll receive an email from us checking in. This email will contain links to helpful information and will provide a link to schedule a phone call or in-person consultation for any questions you may have.

  • The First Time You Fully Complete the First Three Sections of Your Questionnaire. These would be the sections labeled ‘Couple’s Contact Information,’ ‘Before the Ceremony,’’ and ‘Ceremony.’ Once we have received a notification that these sections have been fully completed, (please be sure that each section has at least one box checked) you’ll receive an email from us with an anticipated pre-ceremony timeline to help make planning your hair and makeup schedule a little easier and give you a better idea of your photo/video coverage times and hours of coverage time you may need.

  • The Month Before Your Wedding on the 1st. If we’re still waiting on a questionnaire from you, you’ll receive an email from us reminding you about your questionnaire.

  • Three to Four Weeks Before the Wedding. You’ll receive an email from us to schedule your wedding overview phone call. We recommend scheduling this call between 10 to 14 days before the wedding to ensure as many of your day of details are as fully confirmed as possible.

  • The Hours Leading Up to Your Call. We are super detailed, and in the time before our call, we create a prep sheet based on your questionnaire responses and emails we’ve had with you to estimate the best timeframes based on weather/lighting conditions and movement of our team/equipment that day to create a list of questions and talking points we have based on your responses.

  • Wedding Overview Phone Call. Lasting between 60 to 90 minutes, this call is where we’ll go through your timeline in detail and talk about everything that is most important to you. Our goal always, when capturing a wedding, is to do so in a way that most closely matches what you envision and ensure that we focus the perfect amount of time on photos with you in balance with the time you would like to spend with family and friends. As so much of our time is spent taking notes during these calls, these are always done over the phone rather than in person or by video chat.

In-Person consultations

You can schedule an in-person consultation anytime in our Jacksonville, NC, office/studio using the button below. Going beyond just chatting, our 1,500 sq. ft. space offers a conference area and lounge area complete with drinks and snacks where you can chat with us and view:

  • Sample Albums with all of our available cover fabrics.

  • Wall Prints, including acrylic frames, metal prints, canvases and available canvas finishes, and framed prints.

  • Regular and Fine Art prints, along with all of our available photo finishes.

  • Acrylic & Wood Samples from our sister company, Von Creative Co.

  • Photo Booth

You can use the link below to schedule a phone call with us anytime to discuss your timeline or any questions you may have. As a note, we pack a lot of information in your questionnaire and the timeline we send following, so it can be super helpful to complete your questionnaire before scheduling a call. <3

 

venue walkthrough consultation

We also provide couples the option to schedule an in-person walkthrough at their venue. As a note, we try our best to keep our pricing as affordable as possible, and venue walkthroughs are not something calculated within our packages. As these walkthroughs will typically pull a full day of admin/editing from our calendars (most of the venues that we work at are between a two-and-a-half to five-hour round trip), please be understanding that we do need to charge for these consultations. They are charged at the time of booking through the calendar link below at $150 per consultation. In-person venue walkthroughs are refundable with up to three hours of advance notice of the scheduled start time. Please note, if you have an all-inclusive package with us, this walkthrough consultation is included so this payment will just be applied directly to your invoice.
